We’ve rebuilt search from the ground up to include predictive recommendations, recent searches and auto-fill of brands or categories you might be searching for. To make it even more powerful, we’ve also included ad transcripts, ad copy, additional AI labels, brand names, product names and even OCR (Optical Character Recognition) - these updates mean that you can now search an ad’s script, it’s captions, ad copy or any onscreen labels. Try searching “all icloud” to give it a test run.
When you share a link with someone, you’ll get a preview of the asset and the ad copy - rather than just a boring blank link. P.S. If you’re on iMessage, you can play the video without even having to leave your conversation!
View a live feed that contains the latest ads hitting the platform. Oh, you want even more? Just hit the refresh button to load a new set of ads.
Major improvements to our ad scoring algorithm to make our ad performance estimates more accurate. We now track over 60 different data points to give you an indication of how well an ad performed. We’ve had some real breakthroughs with MagicAI, and we’re using these to make Ad Scores even more powerful.
This has been a heavily requested feature; you can now store collections inside folders. This is great for managing collections between different clients or even just adding a bit more structure to campaigns or brands that you're working on.
We’ve tidied up our filters and tucked them all into a single menu. We’re also restoring the Theme filter - we can now tag ad themes using AI, which means we can now include this filter across our entire ad library.
We’ve rolled out commenting across the entire product. Not only can you leave a comment, but you can tag your team members in those comments. Very handy if you spot a clever hook that you want @nigel to be aware of. Happy commenting!
If a comment is left and no one sees it, was a comment left at all? Ok, that didn’t work, but you get the point. We’ve added a notifications inbox so that you can see any new activity related to you, all in one place.
Use our brands list to find new brands to help inspire your next asset. We’ve included a breakdown of each brand's static / video split, and we’re planning to add more data next month. Found a brand that we should include? Feel free to send through any recommendations.
Multi-select: hold SHIFT to select multiple ad cards at once and move them into a collection, add a tag or delete them.
Redesigned ad detail view: make actions and tags easier to recognise in the side panel; we’ve also included a preview of the AI frames breakdown - this is handy for quickly working out which ads have hook variants versus new concepts.
Revamped ad-saving: now you can type the name of a collection, hit enter, and it’s saved. Using the same input box, you can hit enter to create a collection under that term if it doesn’t already exist.
Today we're launching the first version of our new briefing tool, we're excited to include this critical part of the creative workflow.
We're intending to rapidly ship improvements based on your feedback, so please feel free to send in any feedback using the live chat on the app.
We've also been hard at work cracking through a few bugs:
We have plenty of phenomenal updates coming your way, including improvements to MagicAI and some substantial improvements to how we display and allow users to search in Ads. Watch this space!
You now have access to Organisations! Our customers have been demanding it and now it's here, you can now share and edit across your entire organisation and invite users to join your organisation. All of your ads, boards and projects are accessible from within the organisation. You can also set your organisation's name.
We've added a new category of user, viewers. You can have unlimited viewers in an organisation and they're free. Viewers can't edit but they can view your ads and boards. A great way to get client sign off on projects.
You can now generate Viewer or Editor invite links for your organisation and share them with your team. These links don't expire after they're used, so it's easy to onboard an entire team of creators or creatives that you're working with!
Manage your team from the Workspace menu, add users, change user roles and even remove users from the team if it's time to say goodbye.
We've fixed a bug which was causing issues with the board numbering that occurred when some users changed the ordering of their storyboards.
We've made a few small tweaks to projects and storyboard creation, and storyboards can now be added directly from the project view.
You can now share your entire project with collaborators, making it even easier to stay in sync with your team as you develop storyboards.
You can now control the label options that are displayed within each of your storyboards. Working on a storyboard without captions? No worries.
We've added status markers on storyboards so that you can easily let your team know what stage of the process a storyboard is currently in.
We've added a new script view for storyboards so that you can focus on the copy. Don't worry; you can still drag and drop the modules.
